OK did a total of 9 laps and got down to 1.22.33

Symmons Plains setup is close with a shorter diff

Well as Glen hasn't piped up about Him, Speedie and my laps, i will....

We spent about an hour or so straight after the race last night (Glen needed some laps :tape:) we got down to very low 1:20's.

Initially we were thinking 1:17's would be acheivable, but after an hour we had only gotten down to low 20's, there were a couple of laps where 19's were possible, but that horrible left hand cambered corner, or the last right hander onto the front straight caught us out...

Time will tell, maybe 18's.... probably more like 19's though

looks like its cortina territory, fastest ive gone is a 20.6

Also playing around with your suspension will be fun. Do you have it hard and 3 wheel it everywhere or soften it up to ride the camber. Well thats the case with the Alfa anyway.

Also you should of mentioned that me last nite Rpo, as i was practising offline for awhile. lol

Sorry Dave,

We were talking on vent, then cut some laps in the 91 F1 mod. Glen joined us and said that he updated the server, so off we went.

If i were you i'd blame Glen 100%, it was all his fault.:nod:

I played around with the diff, with the front end, with anything i could think of. I finally got it turning in well, but that heavily cambered left hand corner was giving me grief.

So now it is time to learn the track, i think alot of laps will be done in practice trying to nut this one out, the 20's feel so slow and it feels like you can pick up time everywhere. It is a very technical track, Glen was muttering something about slowing down for the problem turn, i couldn't understand what he was trying to say, as i was backing the corty into the corners :bananapartyhat:

Snakey dropped by for a few laps, i hoped to see a few more on tonight :frusty:

Anyway, finally cracked a 1:19.8 :bananapartyhat: It was a great lap, doubt i'll be able to do many more, i'm tipping race pace will be high 20's low 21's, but i haven't done many laps with race fuel.

I am running the same setup from last week with the only change to shorten the rear axle ratio by one, currently running 1:23s hope this helps.

I was getting frustrated with my laps with Glen, at first we both thought 1:17's would be possible due to how slow it seemed we were driving. :tape:

I ended up changing my Symmons setup quite dramatically, from memory i went full hard on both front and rear springs and reversed the diff settings, i'm running something like 40% power & 5% Coast.

When i cut the laps with Snakey, i also added a little rear bar, it help balance the car when drifting it through the cambered corners.

Can't wait 4 tonight, i haven't done much driving this week. I'm more than happy to let anyoine whjo wants to give my setup a go. My 1:19 was with about 7-8 lapsd of fuel.
