PC Games and Competitions: CSS, COD 4, TF2, TrackManina Nations, UT99, Quake 3, UT3, C & C 3 , Warcraft 3: DOTA. plus many others please check the web site for each Events timetable for which ones are being played

Console: WII Tennis, Tekken 5, Halo 3, Guitar Hero 3 and Gran Turisimo

there are a heap of lans in NSW at the moment http://sogclan.org/ springs to mind as being the closest event...

a simple google search should provide you with more closer events...

and next year there may be another Reloaded event... but nothng is set in stone yet...

Cheap October Tickets
We will again be selling limited numbers of tickets for the October 11th event at this valhalla for the bargain price of $10. This price is only available at the August 23rd event, and will not be extended to our ticket outlets.

Bring a Lady to the LAN if you buy a ticket, you are entitled to bring a lady friend for free for the december 6 LAN. Below are some answers to questions we expect:

1. Does this apply to the $10 tickets bought at the October LAN?
yes, both the $10 special tickets and the $20 outlet tickets are included

2. Define "Lady friend"
Girlfriend, wife, daughter, aunt, grandmother, cousin, niece - in essence anyone who is female.

3. What competitions will there be?
The comps are expected to consist of primarily console orientated games, but may also include PC/MAC competitions. There may also be mixed competitions. These competitions will be run by our female admins - CommanderEl and Railfaerie. The ladies competitions will run throughout the evening, expect there to be more than one or two competitions. Feel free to suggest anything - and keep it clean.

4. What prizes can I expect?
Prizes for the ladies competitions will not be derived from the same pool as the usual competitions, they will be extra and every bit as worthy as anything a guy can win.

5. What do I need to do?
In order to be eligible for the free entry, you will need to register your ticket number, this can be done by emailing wookie@valhalla.net.au. You can do this at any time, although it might be easier if you do it as part of your seating reservations. Please indicate whether the lady in question is bringing her own hardware to use, as this will affect our seating allocations for the event.

6. If I dress as a woman, am I eligible for the free entry on a mates ticket?
No. You must have been born, or be legally recognised as, a woman.

Please note that Valhalla have reintorduced CoD2 for the March event if there is a big turn out it will return at following events....

Call of Duty 2 - Minor 5v5 S&D Competition
Will run in the 11-3am slot this time, if it proves popular will run it earlier next time.

DOTA Minor 3v3 (5v5 if number warrant it).
Will go in the afternoon slot (1-4pm)

Minor comps will attract minor prizes at this time

Tickets for Valhallas 10th Birthday Lan are selling fast..... Old school attendees are more then wlecome to come along relive your former glory with games from the Era to be played... Plus a air hockey table...

Tickets Selling fast capacity bumped up to 340 seats, there wil be limited tickets* on the door.... this will be Valhalla's biggest event since 2005

* BYOC only if you want to come and play on the supplied consoles then this ticket type is "unlimited"

Well its back to Valhalla in 2010 and there are some big things planned as we move toward network and power upgrades over the next 12 months. To accommodate this, there will not be an increase in ticket prices, but the half price tickets for the next lan will stop for the time being. Ladies will still get in free, and console tickets will still only be $10 at the door.

At the next event:

Date: Saturday February 27th - Sunday february 28th
Time: 11am - 3am
Cost: $20 (BYO), $10 (console), Ladies free with ticket purchase AND registration.

Main Competitions:

Counterstrike Source 5v5 (PC) - $200 cash first prize
Team Fortress 2 6v6 (PC) - $150 cash first prize
Ultimate Fighting Championship (Console - our gear) - $75 first prize, $25 second prize
FIFA 10 - $50 prize

More competitions to be announced. Timetable, Seating and tickets will be released in the next week.
