I've done a pb of 2:21.9 so far, but low-mid 2:22's will prob be my race pace unless I sort a better setup. I managed 10laps in a row offline last night before I tagged a wall and got a puncture. Sure is a hell of a ride across the top and trying to slow down at the end of conrod.

Yes, but of course it is either Escort or Capri for this part of the season.

I was doing some 2:24s on the server earlier, probably as good as it will get for now. Just trying to keep things smooth for the tires :). Some bloody fast blokes in Eskys getting around! Deserve a medal for keeping it together round the mountain though and particulary at the end of conrod! :fear:

Just finished about 25 laps around the mountain, did a PB of 2:18.8 on my race setup, lap 12 i did a 2:20.6 :not_ripe: on red dots, i was pushing very hard for the 12 laps, i did a couple of 2:19's, a couple of 2:18's, i then eased off for 3 laps and did 22's, then pushed for the last lap to see how she felt, i was surprised with the 20 for the last lap.

Should be a great race, Jeff wasn't far behind....

well i finally had a crack in the escort and have managed some 2:19's thanks to Jeff's setup. it still feels too loose across the top, not sure how to fix it, or is that just the esky and i have to live with it?

I did a few laps last night early, and was in the high 20s! Hope I can either get the same drug again or remember how to get those times again...

Hmmm.... sounds like I should have practised some more, with my 2:24PB. It'll be alright on the night lol.

well i finally had a crack in the escort and have managed some 2:19's thanks to Jeff's setup. it still feels too loose across the top, not sure how to fix it, or is that just the esky and i have to live with it?

It is just a trait of the escort that you will have to learn to love....

Last night, i couldn't complete an out lap with 6 or 7 tries, too much time spent on the weekend in the TC-65 cars, and no driving of the Escort since last week really hurt my driving. After 15 or so minutes i got back into the groove, but it is a very involving car to drive, every lap around the mountain is an adventure :not_ripe:

maintain light throttle

this advice and keeping a straight wheel across the dip saved me!

Hi Guys

Been praticing this track alot this week, got into the 1:22 late last night. My race pace will be 1:23 to 1:24.

Did some laps with RPO and Jeff couldn't keep up with them to fast for me:censored:

We were testing all the different cars for the enduro.......

We had a little help later on in the day, unfortunately it didn't amount to much as they all crashed, so their tyre wear data was useless :tape: they know who they were :Banane20:

Best I've managed so far is 2.22, that was during a 12 lap practise, my strategy for the dipper is to go wide with no throttle in 2nd gear, got round the 12 laps no damage, likely tonight I'll screw up due to race pressure. :fear:
