This version is made by "Treyarch", same mob that did COD3. All the others were by "Infinity ward". I'm holding out for COD6 by infinity ward as COD5 is Console only from what I've read. Obvious PC user here...:horn:

I think this is the last of the COD series by Treyarch also. Infinity Ward will take the reins from thereon in but not all is confirmed.

Game is enjoyable but the CGo Pro Mod really dumbed it down quite alot. Walking pace only with a strong predominance of long range rifles slowed down the gameplay (competition wise) a hell of alot. Pub play is great fun but COD4's spamming gameplay entices me moreso. This 40 yo loves to pump kids full of lead...lol

IW's COD6 Modern Warfare 2 out in Q4 2009. Won't be Sci Fi I believe but more an extension of COD4.

Never got around to give ARMA a good go but loved the strategic essence it gave. Very similar to BF2's Project Reality mod in alot of ways.

I know what you mean about those damn bratty 12 yo's....many of them fruitcakes but occaisionally forcing one to rage quit by owning their butts makes my day...:lalala:

Oh...almost forgot to mention that Cybergamers have finally released a CFT mod for COD5. Yet to try it but crossing fingers for a goodie in the works.

if any of you fancy a few games XGN has 2 x COD4 and 1 x COD5 servers which are admined by xTR players, whilst we do have some young members they are all well behaved and most evenings after 9pm there are ususally quite a few of us on.

COD5 Bolts only FFA is a lot of fun. We are all in vents usually as well so feel free to jump in and say hi to the other side of XGN :)

good news for XGN by the way, our relationship just got stronger with UGN after having the Vents pool of servers renamed to UGN XGN.

also a slight change to the Vents channel for you guys, you have your own little area now <------XGN Racing-------->

you guys can move around as admins anyway i think i got your passwords right but you may have to double check.

yea was a lot of fun mate..... Citystreets was tough though, we have only played it once or twice and yeah unusual map IMO. both maps played in good spirit though... look forward to next time. :laser:
