Pre Race Chat: Mid Ohio

I shall kick it off lol

Based on my previous expeditions im taking the mustang this week for the yank iron only race @ mid ohio (no chicane).

So far produced teh 1:43.5 in a half dozen laps making small adjustments all having a positive result so far.

Once again the Mustang will shine here, but I haven't used the Falcon yet, so will take on the big iron for this round. Any setup tips?

drop your front arb to suit. probably soften the front up a little aswell, might help with the initial turn in. Normally everyone is trying to dial out the oversteer but with this mod it's quite the opposite which i have to admit i quite like.

According to the calendar the race this wednesday is at Mid-Ohio with the chicane, so I assume that has changed?
Another thing, when I tried to join the server it came up with a Mustang HDV mismatch, any ideas?

I managed 1.46.2 after some setting up and reckon another sec or 2 :flypig: is possible, but if We are racing the track without the chicane then obviously a bit faster will be the case.

You are correct Imperious it used to be with chicane, i changed it before eastern creek race meet because we were using the yank tanks only.

I forgot also i dont know why your getting the HDV mismatch, maybe try again. I have heard it can be a bit faulty at times so your not the only one.
Reason put the chicane in so it would even up the whole field but seeing as there wont be any small cars in this round i thought having it there can cause more problem than good.
