Using a contoller in COD4

Hi ya's
Well my brother is fully into the Xbox360 COD4 but when he comes to my house he struggles with the whole Keyboard and mouse which imho is 10X better but, he tried for a few hours with K&M but gets very fustrated so is there a way he can use a controller instead of the mouse? If so how can this be done.

buy a wired xbox controller.....


they work on pc, dont buy one yet though i will go see if it can be done tonight!

ended up using the pinnaclegameprofiler (http://www.pinnaclegameprofiler.com/)

Had a quick play with the joypad and man its so slow. I think they use auto aim in xbox.

Yup I think there is some aiming assistance in most console first person shooters based on the fact the controller is a far inferior way to play such a game :p so it might not work out too good using an analog controller on a PC fps.

you can actually use a controller with any game on pc...

He came around and had a go, lasted about ten minutes before he wanted to go back to K&M. Joystick is way to slow on the PC.

lol consol jckeys never seam to be able to deal with PC controls... tho after awhile they come good but still esp with no aim bot.....
