I always feared that when I got Photoshop I would end spending way too much time on it given my past history of skinning and guess what - that is exactly what has happened!!!
Ok, first up is a Porsche for auspacer for the upcoming GT series:
(Only saved them as jpegs so they look kinda dark, but that is a carbon fibre strip running up the middle)

A Commodore for when I get around to recreating Bathurst 1987 - running practise numbers, gotta switch to white on black for the race :drama:

And lastly, for now, a ETCC '86 Spa 24 hour Commodore. I did three of these, one for me, one for Brocky/Moffat/Harvey and one for Grice/Perkins/Parsons. WIth HDT built cars, Les Small engines and Larry keeping everyone in check I reckon those 2 cars (I was only 6 so probably would not have been allowed to start.....) would have dominated and it all should of happened but egos got in the way apparently, oh well.....

Also, while I am here, there is obviously a lot of skinning talent on the boards here and I have been in contact this week with a guy in Hungary who is doing a Bathurst 24 hour (2002 and 2003) mod for GTR 2 and he needs skinners. There are 72 more skins to do apparently so if anyone is interested, shoot me a PM and we can work something out.
Here is a teaser of what he has done so far:

(Gotta love that song!)

I thought it was an issue with the fuel, Europe was using different fuel to what the motors were built for, im probably getting confussed....

Les Small had the good stuff (direct from Shell), hence why they had the better cars, well amongst other things but they had no money, relying on drunk, fat Euros to pay the bills.
HDT had the resources but seemed a bit wayward etc etc
All the ingredients were there, and there was talk of a group effort it just never happened, a great shame a real missed oppurtunity for Holden.
