Old features missed

Starting from scratch means all the add ons we had installed need to be redone.

Now I cant do them all at once so I need to know the ones you miss most.

Dont be afraid to ask this site will be rebuilt via members input so if you dont ask you will not get :horn:

I'm not sure if this was a feature, but the little mini forum banners beneath each subforum were cool. I had a new one ready to go for F1A just before we had the issues so I'm hoping I get to show it off. :P

Thanks Nos I will need you to pick up the servers I will let you know once Adam has pulled them out of the rack.

Not sure if this is a feature or not, but I went to post some images up in a thread and it told me I was limited to 4 images per post, and that included smilies and HTML tags. Kinda limits things and means extra posts if you want to put up more than 4 images. If this is just a new policy then no worries, but I figured I would bring it up.

Not urgent either, I expect you have lots of other stuff to take care of :thumb:

image file sizes per file type will still have to be done but I will wait for someone to tell me it needed and what size is required

This was apparent before the forums went down, I think it happened when I upgraded to Firefox 3 so I hope a fix can be implemented for it.

Basically the problem is none of the links are visible, they seem to be the same colour as the background.

opera there is a setting to fix that issue

Well sure we can override the site colors.. but that overrides all the colors so the site doesn't look the same anymore :/

Perhaps this is an issue that vBulletin has a fix for?

Edit: And it overwrites all other sites too :/

I found the problem, it's this bit of css code:

It can be fixed easily by removing the color entries or completely removing the above code.

Firefox users without GreaseMonkey who have this problem can save this userContent.css (http://apatch.org/fx/userContent.css) file to their %appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[profile]\chrome (WinXP) or %appdata%\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[profile]\chrome (WinVista) directory or if they already have that file, they can add the following code to it and restart Firefox:

P.S. The GM method is better in that it doesn't change any other link colours, while the CSS method still works, it'll change the the links that are white to blue/purple.

Try it now I found a bad colour set in the CSS Sheet settings one of the colors was set to #000000 which is not a valid colour

I can not just delete that code as the software doesnt work that way

I will download FF3 ,even though it crashes my system every 5 mins, and try to see if I can adjust the templates

I have tried FFox many times over the years and as far as I can see its just one big pain in the neck and continues to be one.

I have installed FF3 it lasted 15 mins before my system crashed and i rebooted and uninstalled it again.

However I did see what it was doing to the site and its more than just a colour problem it also causes some pages and parts of pages to loose their formatting.

So I will put a notice as a sticky with your work around fix and a note stating the site cannot be successfully viewed with FF3 without using your fix.

BTW Opera works fine.

OK its fixed usage place the you tube number only eg: 9lZK6I2pLp4 in the posting editor window and highlight it
Then click the youtube tag wrap button in the advanced editor or if your using the quick reply editor then you will have to manually wrap the youtube tags around the youtube number
