Just a quick thing that caught me out with my Logitech wheel.

I have a driving force logitech wheel and just used windows drivers to use it (I thought there wasnt any other software because it was a playstation 2 wheel).
It worked ok but I made a massive discovery last night when practicing for Lemans. I found that the throttle and brake were on the same axis! This ment that if I was doing some left foot braking and left 50% throttle on it would cancel out 50% of the brake imput!!!

I just couldn't figure out why sometimes my braking distances were lengthened and other cars would pull better out of corners (were I left foot braked)

Anyway to cut a long story short I went online and downloaded the latest logitec dirver and now I have a seperate throttle and brake axis and also my force feedback is working now aswell :bananapartyhat:

Unfortunatly I still have a bit of a lack of driving talent but at least my brakes work now lol

Most of logitech drivers for wheels cover all wheels well ones made by logitech any ways :D

Because USB is a set standard there is no reason why it shouldnt work but yea as you stated new driver versions can some times offer more options with the wheel for eg seperate throttle / brake axis. The only thing i do not recomend and generally it doesnt work is buying a new wheel and using 2 year old drivers. That being said its the same for all computer hardware dont use old drivers on new hardware even if it says its supported.

Oh and btw PS2/XBOX/XBOX360/PS3 are basically a pc in a roundabout way just highly modified hardware to fit their use's.
