Whenever I have xfire and ventrillo open I get disconnected from my internet connection. Has anyone else experienced this problem, would appreciate any suggestions as it is becoming a pain in the butt.
I'm pretty sure Vent is the culprit because if i have just xfire open I don't have any issues until i start vent up.

What OS?
What Modem/Router (brand and Model #)
What ISP?
What Graphics Card?
Does it happen when just using vent without having xfire on?
What is your ping in vent just before you get disconnected?
Is your ping in Vent stable, or does it fluctuate from below 100 to over 1000 or even higher like 4000-12000? (Your ping shows up at the top left side of vent)
maybe xfire problem, too. Lots of us dont' have xfire and dont' have any problems with vents :)
in all seriousness, how did you diagnose the "full disconnect" ? Does you modem/router disconnect? Can you see other computers if you have a local network?
Have you tried other ports, or protocols?

How long have you had the router? Cause it sounds like either a line problem, an ISP problem or a Router problem.
You have already ruled out it being a combination of Vent and Xfire running together as it happened to you tonight and you didnt have xfire running.
I dont believe its a vent only problem, its vent that makes you aware of the problem. All I can suggest atm is to play a game or surf the net constantly without using Vent to see if you still get disconnected. You will probably find its a temporary problem with a Line or your ISP and will resolve itself eventually.
Contact Node and ask if anyone else in your area is having a similiar problem, someone else in your area may have reported the same problem but got fobbed off by Node thinking it was only a PC related problem.
SuperNoob and myself once diagnosed a problem our ISP was having as we are connected to the same exchange and are with the same ISP yet our ISP wasnt aware of the problem until we both reported the same problem to them. Our ISP had the problem fixed the very next day, it turned out to be a problem with hardware at our exchange.

In that case I'd - as Grumpy said - look at the line & modem. It's highly unlikely that a software will cause the router to disconnect.
