First of all I would like to thank Devilracer for his time and thought that went into making this system.
Consideration for new drivers etc will be taken into account. These penalties are in affect immediately including any protests lodged about Queensland. OK, here it is
To lodge a complaint 75 championship points (-75)
Incident deemed to be a racing incident 75 points back (+75)
Fault is other drivers (I modified Glen's originals a bit).
Bump passing (Bumping the car in front out of the way in order to pass and not immediately redressing) -5 championship points per bump pass
Excessively holding up the leaders under blue flag -10 championship points and on one rounds probation
"The one rounds probation means that if the corresponding driver does the same thing in the next event he will start both races from DEAD LAST for the rest of the season and/or have a points deduction to the value deemed necessary by the incident review board."
Excessive weaving to block a car from passing you (Moving your line more than once) -5 championship points
Unsafe track re entry after an accident/trip into the grass/sand -10 Cause an accident -15 and one rounds probation
Careless driving (constantly tapping the rear of another vehicle/slamming into another competitor etc...) -10 championship points per incident
Lapped cars punting cars on the lead lap -15 championship points and one rounds probation
Sending a competitor into the grass and not redressing immediately -20 championship points and one rounds probation
Reversed order of complaint (You lodge a complaint and it deemed to be your fault) -75 to lodge the complaint and an additional 5x what the fault is worth (i.e. I lodge a complaint against you with no grounds. When replay is viewed it becomes clear it was my fault. Say I came back onto the track dangerously and caused you to slam into me. I then lose my 75 points for lodging and and then lose an additional 75 points (15x5).
I think this is a fair system. It would guarantee that there would not be that many complaints given and only ones that get merited.
