This championship is open to all XGN, no registration required as it is a fun series.

Practise server will be up this afternoon some time for the first round at Pukekohe.
You can find the track on RFCentral and it is NOT the WGTL track.
You can find the mod(v1.4) at RFcentral and the skins at No Grip Racing.
Like V8 Retro, no pressure, you can come do all the series, or some of the races, or just one.
This Saturday night will be an open night for getting the feeling of the mod and meeting some of the drivers.
It will start at 8PM AEST time but come along any time.
We are aiming for a competitive and friendly atmosphere in all of our series, so come along and say Hi

It's the FVRNZ V8 mod. Attempts to replicate the NZ V8 Touring Car Series. You can find it HERE (http://rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=FVRNZ_V8). You'll also need the 2009/10 skin pack thing.

Well, I think that's enough work for today! Benny and I have created a whole series in one day, so now i am gonna go play. I'll be on for a while doing my setups if anyone wants to jump on. Otherwise see you'se this saturday for the Pre season open night

Did some prac last night. Pukekohe is a fun fast circuit but has some tricky spots and very hard on the brakes.
Might have to adjust settings as to not have your cars overheat. All in all when mastered this should be a fun race.

After testing last night we are going to have to make Pukekohe a standing start race. My apologies to all the NZ guys as I know the real guys do rolling starts, but it just wasn't working properly for us last night

Practice - 19:00 AEST 21:00 NZ
Qualifying - 20:00 - 20 minutes
Warm-up - 20:20 - 10 minutes
Race 1 - 15 minutes
Race 2 - 15 minutes
Race 3 - Feature Race - 30 minutes


Hi Guys the season V8NZ series kicks off this Saturday night at Pukekohe. So far been plenty of interest and I know it will be a great race. Have done a few practice races here over the past week and found the cars a great deal of fun. First thing I noticed is they are so much harder to drive than the FVRV8 Australian series, so for those who found the FVR just to easy and uninspiring might be an opportunity to give it another go. Plenty of repeat passing opportunities with the slipstream effect down the back straight, the other thing have found is that level between the quicker drivers and not as experienced drivers (like myself) is a lot smaller in this class. I found I was able to at least pressure the fast guys so in all should be a great fun night.

As you all know this series is here for anyone to jump on and have a run, so even if you haven’t posted any interest but would like to jump on Saturday and join in the fun go for it not fussed about duplicate cars so have a look at what is available if you want if not just pick anything and jump on.

I'm looking forward to being part of the racing again. Wednesday was a killer for me. I tried to mow the lawns and pulled my shoulder muscles.
I'm going to race tomorrow night as I'm going to be the one running it. Pain killers will have to come out of the cupboard a few hours before race start I think.

Great fun doing full length race tests with Dev and Ben last night. results were close with Benny just getting us overall and dev and I even for the night, Should be an exiting race, Ben and I have done a ton of practise here and I am looking foward to it. Server is up for prac next week as well as the race server is now switched on. The prac server is utilising the 2009 cars so as not to get as many mismatched people trying to join but the races will continue on with the 2010 skins. Admin, the admin log on has been altered so contact me please for new password. the regular password however is still the same with no password required for the prac server.

With the flowing nature of this circuit it should be great close racing which has already been prooven in the practise sessions. Success weight ballasts may be added at the discretion of the admin on the night.

Ok everyone, have fun tonight and don't forget you don't have to be a regular to show up. whether your intending to run in all races of the championship or just a select few or even if this is the only race you will be attending, all are welcome.

Server was set up today for hotswapping so that the endurance guys could have a bit of a practise at it.
If any of the endurance guys would like to prac some more we will have the longer race tonight to allow hotswaps.
