Okay sorry I beleived I have reacted too quickly to the question of when the next race is.
I cannot remember if the date was a mistake or intended to give everyone a break mid season. Certainly from Glen's comment "I thought I might have a rest" it may well be a good idea to have a break for a week to get our heads around the cars and the next round.
We have a wide choice of cars for the following rounds and the wrong selection will certainly result in some misery if either incorrectly selected or setup.
Plus the rFactor Nascar track is not as good as the GTL one (I believed from this new experience in rFactor land, that all the tracks would have been an improvement over the GTL, which they have been till now).
So please forgive my dithering, please wait until we, (Glen and I), make an informed decision on when and which track for the official next round.
The cars will remain in the same grouping but the track and date may change.
We can still run 2 sprints on the Wednesday if we go for a break, and allow those who are interested to trial 2 cars in a more relaxed session.

If this doesn't make sense, just hang on for a couple of days, (max).

I think that with a week off, Flat and Glen should take some time to sure up the rest of the season in terms of dates, race lengths, pitstop rules and track configurations. I trust them to make some concrete decisions and we can all just stick to them.

Strong leadership and well publicised event information help keep good numbers turning up to events. When we do too much stuff 'on the run' it requires a greater investment for racers who then need to check the forums all the time. (I know many of us do - myself included - but many do not) Confusion reigns and things can unravel.

The racing has been great from my perspective and I like the friendly atmosphere. A break to sort out the rest of the series would be welcome.

hehe you guys are hanging for the escorts, i must admit i have downloaded enough decent escort skins and used to run my own little escort cup offline.

As far as tidying up the season that would be nice to get that out of the way. It hasnt bothered me or anyone else as far as im aware that we have been doing the lap numbers on the fly but in saying that it should have been out of the way at the start of the season.

Some peeps are suggesting to run a dummy round but if you want escorts or whatever just let me or bruce know then i can configure the server.

Thats what it is set for, no points just a mockup week, we can do this every 3 weeks if you like where i dont have to be present to admin. Also you guys can decide what to run. Sometimes in the middle of a 76 series you might just want to blast around in the 65's which is what is pretty much happening wed night.
