1.28's is my best so far, might get 1.27's. But I can hold 29's day in day out. :D

This track is nice and easy to be consistent. Got a 1.29, but easily holding 1.30's in the Daytona.

So far I have tried the Vette, Cobra and Daytona and the Daytona seems to be the quickest. Reasonable handling, good power.

The Cobra has heaps of straightline grunt, but keeping it in a straightline is a challenge in itself.

The vette is driveable but seems to give away too much down the straight.

Haven't tried the TVR and I think the GT350 might be a bit slow.

Keeping in mind that another car needs to be selected for the next round, could strategy effect the car choice as well?

Any thoughts?

I had a 'float' around in this too, this car may have be reserved for, (the :alien:s for all races :) ), a one make race.

Thread is unlocked and after a small discussion i thought Paul Ricard 1988 (http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=Le%20Castellet%201988) would be suitable, There were some other suggestions (thanks for the input) but that would involve a whole track pack DL (200meg) which at short notice might be hard for some, Paul ricard should be a suitable track for powerful cars with nice run off areas.

Is the 427 Cobra fair gameguys or only the 289s?
I just did a 1.34 flat in the 427 and that was with very little time not going sideways. Top speed = 267 km/h! :Banane31:
Compare that to a 1.39 as my best in the Vette. The Vette is much nicer to drive but cant ignore 5 seconds a lap!
