Season 3 Oceania Tour Championship (Early 2009) Briefing
Some have expressed interest in Season 3 - 2009 and although it sounds like a long way off, it is time to prepare and of course whet your interest.
Remembering: "you can't please all the people all of the time", we hope this will interest all. Certainly the high level of competitive clean racing will remain.
There will be votes available on the tracks.
I know some would like to leap into the GTC-76 cars, but we still have some new members, who are getting used to racing and in this vein of thought:
Season 3 Oceania Tour Championship (Early 2009)
9 rounds
Oceania Tracks (Australian and N.Z.) (A vote will be conducted on which tracks)
Rounds 1 - 5: Cortina Versus Alfa
Rounds 6 - 9: Escort Versus Capri
Round One starting week of Monday 26 January 2009 (To be confirmed)
Mid season break. (One week)
Round 9 at the latest the week of Monday 6th April (To be confirmed)
There are 27 Trans-Tasman tracks, 21 on the mainland of Australia and 6 on the outlying islands, NZ:
so there is the possibility of 3 seasons of 9 rounds, but we need to select our top 9 for Season 3 2009,
so we will vote on our top 7 Aus tracks and our top 2 NZ tracks. I will post a poll, (if this functionality is available), else we may need to make up a list and pm it to me, in them mean time, put your thinking hats on.
I will post the tracks and the links for those who need to do some assessment.
