The Sydney Overclockers Gaming Community (SOGC) is an online community of gamers and computer hardware enthusiasts who run regular monthly (approximately) events where members can meet up, show off their skills with hardware and software. Think of it as like a track-day for car enthusiasts, except for gamers and PC hardware enthusiasts!

SOGC is run by a small enthusiastic and passionate team of people with specialized skills within or related to the IT industry. Each of the SOGC staff work on a completely voluntary basis for the SOGC and are dedicated to bringing the best experience possible to our events and members!

Run specifically as a “not-for-the-profit” event, every dollar that the SOGC makes goes back into making a bigger and better SOGC; improving on our previous events. All with the goal of bringing LAN gaming back to Sydney as a mainstream, lively and fun event!

Time: 10:00am to 10:00pm - a full 12 hours of gaming!

Location: North Sydney ANZAC Memorial Club, Anzac Ave, Cammeray 2062, NSW. Where CLGA used to be. If you must, point your GPS's to 33 Anzac Ave, Cammeray, 2062, NSW - you can't miss the club, it occupies the entire street on one side.

Cost: $25.00 at the door

Food: We discovered that they make the world's most epic burgers and chips in the Bistro upstairs, as well as $6.00 catch of the day fish 'n' chips! Bargain! There's always Crows Nest and North Sydney straight down the road if you're willing to drive for some food! Pizza runs are available at $10.00 per pizza + can of drink - these will be Dominos Pizzas

SOGC Games List
The following is a list of games that will be useful for attendees at SOGC. We've divided the list into two types of games: Definite and Optional - the names are fairly self explanatory with Definite games being expected to at least make an appearance at the event and Optional games being very highly likely to be played, but not a must-have for playing. Bear in mind, that our competitions don't always require someone to have a game to participate; and attendees are not restricted to just this list. This is just what the SOGC staff think are the most likely games to be played at the event.
