Help Historic gt folder

Hey guys
install the historic from rfactor central (using rfactor ye) can see the Historic gt folder but when go into game cannot see cars or folder
what an i doing wrong please

If your rfactor folder is "rfactor" (the folder with rfactor.exe in it)

then your folder structure should look like this

..\rfactor\GameData\Vehicles\HISTORIC GT\HISTORICAL FIA GT\

with GTC-65, GTC-TC-76, LM-72 etc folders insde that

is that what you have?

ye crash and i download 1.01 but looking at forums u are using ver 2.0 ye
were would i get this mate

Nope 1.01 is correct - there is no V2.0 (at least not yet, its being worked on now, with no eta on the release date)

OK so if you have the right folders, have you selected "Historic GT & Touring cars" as the racing series in you player settings?

yep crash everything is in explorer , start game under vehicles tab no Hostorical gt at all listed
have done this a hundred times for other mods don't understand

that sounds like a failed install to me...but I'm not expert in rF, not even a little bit.
Have you tried to uninstall/reinstall?

Soudns like you eiher have a failed install like bird suggests (possibly even a bad download?)

or

you dont have Hisrotic GT & Touring cars selected as you racing series - unlike other mods - the Historic GT cars DO NOT show up in the vehicles tab when you are in "all tracks all vehicles"


you should also notice the user interface is completely different if its installed properly

If its simply that you dont have it on Historic GT & Touring cars, you will need to exit & restart rfactor once you've chosen it then it will change to the user interface like above etc

everything above i have done ( do u have to have the gt legends dvd in the tray )tried to uninstall/reinstall , installed standalone rFactor with this mod everything is there no sound files thoug

any ideas sorry guys

You only need the GT Legends to install, dont need it after that :)

I'm a bit confused as to what you're actually seeing/not seeing sorry Stan..


When you go to the Vehicle Select (click on picture of mini/2nd picture from left in the film strip as seen in my screenshot below)

P.S. I've never used the 1-click install stuff.. so not sure if I can help with that one.
