back on track, I do remember this track now, did a couple of laps in test mode last night. It was the first round that I joined P&G last year.
One good thing came out of lap one, when I speared off the track heading into the straight, I went "THROUGH" the concrete pit wall, haha!

Sweet I love the way 3100 Capri handles & sounds, but I chew through the front tyres so quickly. Should be a good combo with the Capri's advantage of top end speed vs the Escort's better braking & cornering. The previous HistorX league I raced in I used the 3100 Capri and on tracks with a longish straight the Capri had a definite advantage, but on tighter tracks with more corners the Escort was quicker.

Last night offline I blew up the 3100 Capri engine in a practice race... does that mean that I should just shift a bit earlier? You can't adjust the radiator opening.

just did some laps, 1:17:3 in the capri but the escort was a bit slower, I think this track sucks for grip, im going to make it my mission to find where the grip level is for each track. I think with all the slippin that the escort doesnt get to use its full potential which is a shame. It feels as though you are on marbles most of the time.

I can get a 1.20 out of the 3100 and the esky, but the Capri at first drive is much easier to learn. I'll stick with it for now.

And I have managed high 15's, so with a "real" setup and consistently hitting the apex I'd say that 14's at least are on the cards for the pointy end.

Jeff and i swapped into all available cars last night. The escort was fun, but the 3100 is way faster.

I couldn't better a 1:17, though i don't think i hit an apex all night, i'll tell you what i did hit....... the end of the steering rack, needed way more opposite lock, these would make great drift cars:bananapartyhat:

well for the average it will be 1:20s so 13 laps is okay by me.
I will be okay for the admin if others aren't there.
