As the download links have been finalised, when will the server be updated so we can scratch our new cars?
Can't wait to see what the grid will look like, some sweet skins, well done to all the skinners, especially speedy..... but he does need help, or medication, or alcohol :bananapartyhat:

I think 21st is the test night with the new cars.
Another question I have related to what I asked the other day about how many cars will the server support, is how many cars does each track support, as that could be an issue unless we do a A and B series like with GTL.
Hopefully not though.

An is how many cars does each track support, as that could be an issue unless we do a A and B series like with GTL.
Hopefully not though.I was thinking about this when painting up cars as in all the cars in Historics none have a pit garage allicated
This is what i mean below ... its in the vehicle file off every car in the game ...
if u go down to PITGROUP=""
By putting a number between the two " " it will allicate a pit garage 4 that car
ie: PITGROUP="1" that should put this car in that bay
We probly need as many driver on the test night as possible to see if it going to be a problem
THIS IS WHAT THE VEHCILE FILE LOOKS LIKE Below

If everyone has the skinpack, we can start next week. I was just concerned some may not have it.
I can post a vote tomorrow (or someone tonight) if you think it is a way to go.
I'm happy either way, we can test the track and the pack. I didn't think the pack would have been finalised so quickly (well done lads).

Sandown and Symonns Plains and Phillip Island didnt like 36 cars as the pictures below show ...there's 4 cars on top off each other in the pit box
I will check the other traks 2morrow and see what happens ..will keep ya posted

We may still be able to race with the larger number of cars even if they overlap in the pits.
Looks like we need to test the larger number on the grid.
If the server allows we should add some AIs to extend the grid number to hmmm 36 and check.

Although its nice to have the proper pit garage as flattop mentioned its not essential, the starting grid is.
Although if flattop doesnt mind i think i would like to skip the Falcs Vs Stangs and go to the Alfa's and Corts this week and then the Capri's and Esky's next week for testing purposes only.

Yeah i agree Glen, i think due to the size of the field :bounce: we should test and see what happens, going to be a great season, what are we up to 32 entrants and counting!

OK, just conducted a lot of testing for grid starting postions, here is the results
Eastern Crk 45 - drivers - 45 pit bays
Sandown 35 - drivers - ?? pit bays
Symonds 36 - drivers - ?? pit bays
Manfield 40 - drivers - 40 pit bays
Puke WGTL 40 - drivers - 40 pit bays
Raupuna 40 - drivers - 40 pitbays
Calder 40 - drivers - 40 pit bays
Lakeside 40 - drivers - 40 pit bays
Bathurst 40 - drivers - 50 pit bays
P.I. 40 - drivers - 40 pit bays
Sandown and Symonds suggest we should limit the season entries to 36.
That means there will be 3 spots remaining.
Because of the limited entry list this means we will probably put a absentee thread in.
